Rupnagar District Administration Partners with PEHCHAAN EK Safar (NGO) for ATL Teacher Training Program
Rupngar, 12 September: In a groundbreaking initiative, the Rupnagar District Administration has joined hands with PEHCHAAN EK Safar, an NGO driven by the brilliant minds of IIT Ropar students, to launch the ATL Teacher Training Program. This visionary program is set to revolutionize education by bringing advanced technologies such as coding, drones, artificial intelligence, and more right into the classrooms.
Under the ATL Teacher Training Program, the dedicated volunteers of PEHCHAAN EK Safar will embark on a mission to empower educators. They will equip teachers with the skills and knowledge needed to harness the potential of cutting-edge technologies. The aim is to turn our teachers into tech mentors who will guide students through a journey of discovery and innovation. The impact of this program goes far beyond the training sessions.
Trained teachers will take this knowledge back to their classrooms and breathe life into Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs). These labs will become hubs of creativity, sparking the imagination of young minds and preparing them for a future where technology plays a pivotal role. But we don’t stop there. Our vision is all-encompassing. We believe that every student deserves access to the wonders of technology. Therefore, we are excited to announce our Community Engagement Program
Schools that do not yet have ATLs will have the opportunity to visit nearby ATLs. This means that even more young learners will get the chance to explore, tinker, and innovate. Our overarching goal is simple yet profound: to foster curiosity, creativity, and imagination in the hearts and minds of our young learners. We aim to instill critical skills such as design thinking, computational prowess, adaptive learning, and physical computing
