SSP Vivek S Soni visits the overturned minibus site near Ghaimajra village

12 passengers got injured in the incident

Rupnagar, September 15: SSP Vivek S Soni today visited and inspected the overturned minibus site near Ghaimajra village.SSP Viveksheel Soni said that a minibus going from Nurpur Bedi (Rupnagar) to Balachor (Nawashahr) suddenly overturned near Ghaimajra village, after which 3 seriously injured passengers were sent to the district hospital and the remaining 7 were sent to the government hospital in Singhpur. While 2 injured were admitted to a private hospital.

He said that this afternoon information was received that the minibus going from Nurpurbedi (Rupnagar) to Balachor (Nawashahr) overturned near Ghaimajra village and 12 passengers were injured. After which he immediately instructed the SHO, Nurpurbedi and Senior Medical Officer, Singhpur to provide immidiate help to injured passengers on spot.

Vivek S Soni said that he reached the spot in no time and took stock of the situation. He said that only one injured woman has been referred to Government Hospital 32 Chandigarh and the rest of the patients are fine.
