DGP Gaurav Yadav reviews security arrangements ahead of Baisakhi festival

Sri Anandpur Sahib, April 11:
Director General of Police (DGP) Punjab Gaurav Yadav on Tuesday visited Sri Anandpur Sahib and chaired meeting of senior officers of Police department to review the security arrangements ahead of Baisakhi-2023 festival.
While presiding over the meeting at Virast-e-Khalsa, DGP reviewed security arrangements and traffic route plan along with deployment of police personnel as per sectors made by district authorities.
DGP instructed the officers to keep vigil on anti-social elements, who keep making nefarious attempts to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere of festival. He also emphasised on technical surveillance for all aspects and do adequate arrangement of parkings for devotees.
On this occasion, IGP Ropar Range Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said that besides help desk for the convenience of general public, wireless control room has also been set up with separate channels. He also said that to ensure strict vigilance, CCTV cameras have been installed in city.
