Punjab and Haryana High Court Justice Shri Vikas Suri inspected the District Court Complex and Sub-Divisions

Rupnagar, 19 March:Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sh. Vikas Suri Judge Punjab & Haryana High Court, Chandigarh and Administrative Judge of Rupnagar Sessions Division inspected the Court Complex of District Courts, Rupnagar on 18.03.2024 and Sri Anandpur Sahib and Nangal, Sub-Divisions on 19.03.2024.

Hon’ble Justice Suri inspected the Judicial Court Complex and inspected the proper functioning of Officers as well as officials. Hon’ble Justice Suri was extended a warm welcome on his arrival by Smt. Ramesh Kumari, District & Sessions Judge, Rupnagar accompanied by Deputy Commissioner and Senior Superintendent of Police, Rupnagar and other Judicial Officers.

Justice Suri also visited the Bar Room Rupnagar and interacted with the members of the Bar. He also visited the ADR Centre, Rupnagar and thereafter conducted jail inspection. He heard the grievances of the inmates and also checked the conditions of the inmates lodged in jail as well as of those requiring special medical care or need. Thereafter on 19.03.2024, Hon’ble Justice Vikas Suri inspected Sub-division Nangal and Sri Anandpur Sahib. There also he was given whole hearted welcome by District Bar of Nangal . While Lordship was extended the warm welcome with Police Band and garlands at sub division Sri Anandpur Sahib by members of local bar.

Hon’ble Justice took a round of the Sub-divisional Courts and interacted with the bar members and addressed to their problems.
