On Orders of the Deputy Commissioner, Free E-Rickshaw Service to be provided to Devotees during Hola Mohalla – Gurwinder Johal

Rupnagar, March 5: Under the esteemed orders and dedicated efforts of the Deputy Commissioner, Rupnagar, special arrangements have been made for the convenience and smooth transportation of devotees traveling to Sri Anandpur Sahib during Hola Mohalla.

Giving details here today, RTO, Rupnagar Mr. Gurwinder Singh Johal said that for the first time, the District Administration, Rupnagar has introduced free E-Rickshaw services for the convenience of the Sangat.

He said that under this initiative, free E-Rickshaw services will be available from village Jhinjri, Agampur (in front of Bhullar Petrol Pump), and Chandesar, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free journey, especially for elderly persons, children, specially-abled individuals, and women.

Additionally, free bus services will also be operated from these locations to the front of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib, significantly contributing to managing the devotees and ensuring smooth transportation during the event.

He said that these free E-Rickshaw and bus services will be available from March 13, 2025, to March 15, 2025.

He further stated that District Administration urges all devotees to take advantage of this special service and cooperate with the authorities to maintain order and discipline during Hola Mohalla.
