Computerisation in the District:

Softwares Implemented at D.C. Office, Ropar

1. Property Registration Information System Module (PRISM)

This software is taking care of Property Registration work at Sub Registrar & Joint Sub Registrars offices. This software is implemented at all the four Tehsils namely Ropar, Kharar, Anandpur Sahib, Mohali) and five Sub Tehsils namely Majri, Chamkaur Sahib, Nurpur Bedi, Morinda, and Nangal. of the district.


2. Dak Monitoring System

DAK Monitoring System is used to monitor the various types of DAK received by RIA branch in DC Office. There are about 11 types of Registers such as Govt. Dak, Human Rights, SDM's/Tehsildars, Govt. Letters, Fax, Vidhan Sabha / Lok Sabha Questions etc. maintained by RIA Branch. It generates various reports such as Register wise and Date wise details of Dak received.

3. Web site of Ropar District:

The website of Rupnagar District was inaugurated by Hon 'able Governor of Punjab. The URL of the site is http://rupnagar.nic.in. The site contains the exclusive information about the District such as Administrative Setup, District Statistics, Cities and Towns of the district with their historical background, Various Places of Interests and important Festivals & Melas of the District. Photo Gallery having a number of Photographs & map of the district is another highlight of the site.

Ms. Seema Jain IAS, DC Rupnagar, Mr Navneet Kukreja, Sr. Technical Director & SIO Punjab State Unit and Mr. Rohit Jaitely DIO, NIC District Centre, Rupnagar are also present on the occasion.

 

4. Case Monitoring System (for D.C./A.D.C Court)

This software monitors the cases of D.C. Court as well as cases of ADC(D) Court. It generates various reports such as all the cases instituted in the courts, reports for the cases instituted on a particular date and cases instituted in a date range. It is implemented at D.C Office as well as at A.D.C.(D), Office.

5. Payroll

Payroll system has been implemented for Establishment branch of DC Office. The salary bills for the employees of DC Office are prepared every month using this system. It generates Pay Bills, Pay Slips & various schedules like GPF, Income Tax etc.

6. Integrated Social Security Schemes Monitoring

This system has been implemented for the office of District Social Security Officer which takes care for the disbursement of Pension to eligible beneficiaries under Old Age Pension, Financial Assistance to Widow & Destitute Women, Financial Assistance to Dependent Children and Financial Assistance to Disabled Persons schemes. The database contains records of approximately 55000 beneficiaries. Bank & Branch wise reports are printed every quarter for disbursement of pension under these schemes.

7. G.P. Fund Monitoring

This software has been implemented for Establishment Branch of DC Office. Data of Ministerial & Revenue staff of DC Office is being maintained. A number of reports are generated including Annual GPF Statements for individuals & Consolidated Report etc are generated.

8. DO Letter Monitoring System

This software taking care of all DO Letters received at D.C office. It generates various reports such as all the DO Letters on a particular Date, Nodal Officer wise report and DO Ltters received in a date range. It is implemented at RIA branch of D.C. Office.

9. MIS for Revenue Recoveries

This software has been implemented for DRA branch of DC Office. Circle Revenue Officers wise data is entered for all the Revenue Recoveries made by the CROs during the month under different categories like Land Revenue, Local rate, Abiana, Ligh Migh, Miscellaneous Recoveries, Bank Loan Recoveries etc. Using this system a number of reports are generated which are discussed in Monthly Meetings.

10. MIS for Plan Schemes

This system is used by the office of Deputy E.S.A. for keeping track of funds received by the Distt. Planning Board. The funds are allocated to different departments under various development schemes.

11. Public Grievances System

This software has been implemented at DC Office. It monitors the Public Grievances received at D.C. Office. A number of reports like Grievances received on a particular date and within a date range etc. are generated.

12. Passport Application Acceptance System (PAAS)

Passport Application Acceptance System (PAAS) is a window based software implemented at Passport Collection Branch of D.C. Office. The details of the Applicant applying for obtaining the Passport are fed into the system. Every week the data of Applications received is transmitted to the Passport Office at Chandigarh.


13. Village Directory

Block wise data of all the villages of the district covering more that 175 parameters has been fed into the system. The system is being used by the office of Deputy E.S.A. The data has also been sent to Computer Centre of Chief Ministers Office which has been launched on the Web Site of the Punjab Government in the Executive Information System (EIS).

14. MPLAD Scheme:

This software is developed for monitoring of funds allocated for various development works by the Member Parliament under MPLAD Scheme. Data from 1999 till date has been fed into the system. A query system has been designed to see the funds allocated to a particular village by different MPs.

Softwares Implemented at other offices of the District

1. District Treasury Information System

Treasury Information System has been implemented at the office of District Treasury Officer. Token Number generation, Bill Detail Entry, Bill Passing, Sub Treasury Level Voucher Entries modules have been implemented. Computerized First List of Payments & Second Lists of Payments reports are sent to A.G. Office & Directorate of Treasuries every month using this system.

2. Co-operative Societies Monitoring System (CSMS)

This system is being used by D.R. Co-operative Office. The data pertaining to various Co-operative Societies is fed into the system and a number of reports are generated.

3. District Courts

The Uniplex software has been implemented at the district courts which is being used for Judgement Writing by various courts at the District Courts complex. All the appeallat corts have been provided a terminal & a printer which are connected with the server in the computer centre of the District Courts. Besides Uniplex, GPF Monitoring System has also been implemented for all the employees of the District Courts.

4. AGMARK-NET

This software has been implemented at Market Committees of Ropar & Anandpur Sahib. This system is used to monitor the Daily Market Prices of various commodities at Market Committee offices. The information is send to DMI Headquarters as well as to StateBoards/Directorates.

5. Community Needs Assessment Approach (CNAA)

The Govt. of India (Department of Family Welfare) has implemented the Community Needs Assessment Approach (CNAA) in family welfare programme, based on the 'Target Free Approach', since last several years. To support the CNAA feedback & monitoring, this computerized system namely CNAA has been developed by NIC Hqrs. Using this system CMO office transmit data related to various Hospitals/PHCs every month to Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. It is Implemented at CMO Office.
